L7 - Everglade

L7 are one of my all time favorite bands. I was obsessed with them as a teenager in the 90s and that obsession hasn't really worn off. Back then I was heavily into girl bands like Babes In Toyland, 7 Year Bitch and Lunachicks but I'm noticing my record collection is getting a little male dominated lately so I thought I'd start trying to complete my L7 collection.

I picked up this everglade 7" off ebay recently. L7 are actually quite a collector scum band as there is 3 different versions of this single, which are 7", 12" picture disc and 12" etched vinyl. I already own the picture disc so I just need to get the etched 12" and that's this single done.

One of the best picture discs I've seen and I like that it comes with a sleeve unlike a lot of other picture discs. I used to have a shirt with the vagina eater design on it and it just said smell the magic in big green letters. Wish I still had that shirt but I used to get some weird looks at the supermarket.

  2. Yeah I still listen to bricks are heavy alot. I've got the UK vinyl version that comes with a huge foldout poster of the vagina eater design haha. The good thing about collecting L7 vinyl is a lot of it goes for pretty cheap on ebay too.

  3. Love L7, one of my favorite bands as a teenager too. Have to start a collection of my own. Can't seem to find their live disc anywhere tho. Ah well, it's a challenge that I'm up for. Will have a poke around on ebay. Thanks for posting the pics of the everglade collectables.
