Car Park Crust

Bought a bunch of crust records from a local distro that was selling records in the car park at a show last weekend. Here they are.

This is the RSR pressing on black vinyl. Double Japanese crust/d-beat attack.

Wolfbrigade - Prey To The World 12"

This is the Wolfbrigade comeback album released in 2007. 1000 pressed on Marble Green vinyl by Unrest Records.

Victims - Divide And Conquer 12"
Victims are a crust hardcore from band from Sweden. This is their third LP, released in 2006 by Havoc Records. Really great stuff and I love the cover art on this, you don't see many hardcore sleeves with such bright colors.

Their forth LP. Split release on Combat Rock Industries and Havoc Records.

German pressing of the first From Ashes Rise LP with songs from the Life and Death 7" included,  Skuld Releases.

Got some new arrivals from Vinyl Junkie Distro. They have a pretty large selection of punk and hardcore vinyl and I often find stuff that's been out of print for awhile. For example they still have copies of the Hatred Surge - Servant/Bestial 7" in stock. Go check them out. Anyway here's what I ordered this time.

Acursed - Tunneln i ljusets slut LP
Acursed are a crust hardcore band from Sweden. I don't know much about these guys as there's not a lot of info out there. Sounds a bit like His Hero Is Gone and that sort of thing. Good stuff. I'll be trying to find more of their records. This one's on Prank Records.

From Ashes Rise - Silence LP

Originally released on Feral Ward but this copy is the German press on Skuld Releases. I'm slowly trying to get some of the classics that are missing from my collection but it's hard when so many good new releases keep coming as well. I wish I could go to one of the From Ashes Rise reunion shows this year.

Corrupted - Paso Inferior LP

Corrupted are from Japan and make slow evil doom with Spanish lyrics. Pretty much the best doom band around. This is a different re-recorded version of their 1997 CD release. Put out by Insolito Records in Germany, I'd say this is the second press that came out in 2008. The cover art is black ink on black card. Highly recommended.

Lots of black vinyl with minimal dark artwork. Sorry for the even shittier than normal photos. Camera gone missing so I'm using a vintage digital camera that is about 10 years old.

Crusty Package

I got a package from Alternative Tentacles filled with crusty goodness.

Amebix - Arise
This is a reissue put out by Alternative Tentacles and comes with a bonus 7". I'm really getting into this band. They sound like crust/goth/motorhead mixed together.

Amebix - No Sanctuary - The Spiderleg Recordings

Another Amebix reissue. This one collects the earlier eps and includes the Winter 7". I wish Monolith would get a similar treatment but for some reason it has only been reissued as a digital download.

From Ashes Rise - Nightmares

This was in the Alternative Tentacles distro so I picked it up to save postage but it's actually on Havoc records. Nice metallic foil print on the cover. I've been listening to this non stop since I got it.
