Morne have released this epic new album of atmospheric crust. I have given this many repeat listens already and it keeps getting better every time. This is what I was hoping the new Amebix material would sound like! Time will tell with that one but for now this is looking like one of the best for the year. These guys have filled the hole in this genre left behind by Fall Of Efrafa and if you're into that band I would recommend you give this a listen. This is the European edition on Alerta Antifascista. I got in quick with the pre order and scored the white with black haze vinyl limited to 100 copies. There's still black vinyl left at doomrock or you can wait for the US pressing which should be out soon.
Do you know who's handling the US press? I'm dying to hear this.
ReplyDeleteThey mentioned on their facebook that there will be a US pressing later this summer. Profound Lore Records have put out the CD so I'm guessing they will be handling the vinyl too but I may be wrong. If I were you I'd snap the euro press up, so good!

ReplyDeleteConsider yourself lucky to be able to buy records so cheap in the US! Here in Australia it costs anywhere from $12 - $20 in shipping costs alone for one LP. I have paid up to $50 for a brand new LP before because of international postage and conversion. Most 7"s with postage are around $10 - $15. Collecting records in Australia is a very expensive habit haha.
