Cowabunga Records
Got a bunch of 7"s from Cowabunga Records which is a great little label with some really nice releases. Go check them out.
V/A - Welcome To The Golden State 2
This is volume 2 in a compilation series done by Cowabunga Records. It's got unreleased songs from Dry Rot, Migraine and a few other bands. Peach/blue split vinyl limited to 75 I think.

Migraine - Weird Tales EP
Second 7" from Migraine. I really like the Dan Rossiter art thats been screen printed on black card. You can download this 7" from the bands blog and give it a listen. If you're into Cult Ritual, Dry Rot and Slices you'll probably like these guys.
Vile Nation - No Exit EP
First record from Vile Nation who play super fast thrashy hardcore. This is the second press on white limited to 500.
Video Disease - Make Me Pure EP
Second 7" from Video Disease and also their last as they have now broke up.

Super Wild Horses EP
I got to see Super Wild Horses when they supported Eddy Current Suppression Ring not long ago and was super impressed. They didn't have any records for sale at the show so I tracked this one down. It's their first 7" EP on Aarght! Records. Garage punk played by two girls who share drums and guitar between them.

Extortion Collection
I received a record in the mail yesterday that I've been chasing for sometime. The record was the 12" repress of the first Extortion 7" on green vinyl. I don't know how many of these were made as Extortion's facebook says there were 50 green yet I've also seen it listed as 200. The main reason this was so hard to get was most of the green copies were sold on the US tour. Luckily I found one of these americans on a message board who was willing to sell it to me.
Thought I'd celebrate by taking a photo of my collection so far. I know it's not complete as I'm still missing a few things but it's pretty damn close. I'm not even going to go down the road of test press collecting, that would be a nightmare as well as very expensive. That being said I wouldn't turn one down if it came my way haha.

Extortion Collector Scum
Thought some of you Extortion collector scum would be interested in this. Don't know if it's legit but looks like there is a Loose Screws accidently pressed on 12". I would have liked to have gotten this simply because I hate 10"s so much. Must have been a buy it now sale as there was only one bid and I never saw this come up. Fuck!

Warcry - Not So Distant Future
Third Lp from Warcry on Feral Ward Records. 1000 on black vinyl pressed so far. I've given it a few spins and it's good but doesn't blow my mind or anything. Maybe it'll grow on me. I've heard good reviews of their latest 7" so i'll have to pick that up sometime.
Eddy Current Suppression Ring - Wet Cement 7"
New 7" from Eddy Current Suppression Ring on Mexican Summer Records. Wet Cement b/w Hey Mum & Through The Trees. Really catchy stuff, just listened to it 5 times in a row. Hand numbered and limited to 500. Sold out already but there may be a second pressing on the way. Apparently there was a defect on some copies causing the record to skip but my copy played smooth as.

Wild Wild West Cassette
This is a compilation of bands from Western Massachusetts put out by Galambis Records. It's a bit of a mixed bunch of bands and genres including folk, indie, pop punk and hardcore. I bought it mainly for the Vaccine song "Fuck Your Faith" which goes for all of 16 seconds. There's some other alright stuff on here but it's pretty hit or miss. Nice looking tape though and it comes with a 20 page mini booklet. This is the orange tape limited to 50 copies and I think it has different cover art to the regular ones too.
Slavescene Demos
Slavescene - Heaven Only Knows
This is the first demo tape pressed on 12" vinyl by VPS with different cover art. Noisy as fuck with vocals that sound like they're sung through a megaphone.
Slavescene - Demo II
Second demo tape on Cult Maternal. I like this tape the best. It's faster and the vocals sound way better than the first tape. I don't know the pressing info on either of these releases. Probably all sold out by now from fucktard ebay flippers buying 10 copies each.

Nirvana Reissues
All the Nirvana LPs have recently been repressed on vinyl. They've been repressed many times before but these ones are by far the best versions out there. All have been remastered and pressed on 180 gram coloured vinyl. I just spent a few hours listening to them all in a row while playing Mario 64 and it felt like I'd gone back to the 90s. Some of the best sounding vinyl I've heard in a long time too, crystal clear.
Nirvana - Bleach
20th Anniversary double LP. Sub Pop did a great job with this release. Super thick gatefold sleeve with 16 page booklet. The second record is a live recording from 1990 with lots of bleach songs on the set list.
Incesticide is coming out soon too. I bought these at http://www.musicdirect.com/.

Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets
This is the new repress of Neurosis' 2001 album A Sun That Never Sets. Gatefold double LP red/grey split vinyl limited to 500 copies. I love it when the colour of the vinyl matches the cover art like this. Looks rad, sounds even better. Still available from Relapse Records if anyone is interested but I doubt for much longer. 500 is a pretty small quantity for a band like Neurosis.

Package from Painkiller
Got an order from Painkiller Records in the mail last week. I was mainly ordering the Innumerable Forms 7" but picked up a bunch of other stuff too so the postage wasn't so harsh.
Innumerable Forms - Dark Worship Ep 7"
Innumerable Forms is a solo death metal project from Justin of Mind Eraser. Really stocked on this record, much better than I was expecting. Mammoth Grinder are going to be the backing band when he plays live. Wish I could see that. I wasn't quick enough to get the green vinyl but this black one will do.
Dry Rot - Subordinate 7"
Really nice 16 page booklet comes with this record. Good to see some effort go into a 7" release for a change. Released on Painkiller Records black second press of 420.
